Frequently Asked Questions
HOW WE WORK
-
Yes, plain bands without stones can generally be resized to any size. However, with certain designs, such as diamond wedding bands or engagement rings, resizing may be limited to just a few sizes up or down. To ensure the best outcome, please let us know your desired size, and we'll advise on the best course of action.
-
Unfortunately, we do not work with materials supplied by customers. Sourcing and selecting stones is a core part of our practice, allowing us to ensure they meet our high standards for quality and ethics. Each stone in our collection is handpicked from trusted and responsible sources.
-
We do not accept remodelling projects at this time.
-
The entire process, from design consultation to production and shipping, typically takes around 5-6 weeks. Crafting the jewellery itself generally takes 4-5 weeks, depending on the complexity of the design. We recommend placing orders well in advance to avoid any rush. If you’re in a hurry, ask us about available ready-made stock or expedited options.
-
We will do our best to accommodate urgent requests, though we can't guarantee a specific timeframe. Depending on the urgency, there may be an additional fee.
Please reach out to us directly before placing your order if you need it expedited.

Materials & DESIGN
-
Gold caratage measures the purity of gold in the alloy—the higher the karat, the more pure gold it contains. Pure gold is too soft for everyday wear, so it’s mixed with other metals to increase durability and strength. For example, 18ct gold, which is 75% pure gold and 25% alloy, offers an ideal balance of durability, strength, and colour, making it our preferred choice for long-lasting jewellery.
For sensitive skin, we suggest opting for a higher gold carat or, even better, platinum which is hypoallergenic.
-
Yes, we guarantee that all our diamonds and gemstones are responsibly sourced. We collaborate exclusively with suppliers who adhere to United Nations Resolutions and ensure that their materials come from legitimate, conflict-free sources.
Our sapphires, emeralds, spinels, and other gemstones are purchased directly from mines or through trusted cutters and brokers.
For our Australian sapphires, we work closely with the miners and cutters who unearth these beautiful stones. If you choose a piece featuring an Australian sapphire, we can tell you exactly where it was mined and even provide the names of the miner and cutter involved.

Platinum is a higher-end alternative to white gold, known for its exceptional durability. Being about 30% denser than white gold, platinum resists wear better, making it ideal for daily wear. Unlike white gold, platinum doesn’t require re-plating to maintain its bright white colour. White gold, naturally a greyish tone, is coated with white rhodium to achieve its bright white finish.
-
Rhodium plating is a process where a layer of rhodium, a white metal, is applied to jewellery, especially white gold, to enhance its bright, white finish. White gold, which is an alloy of gold and other white metals like silver and palladium, naturally has a slight yellow or grey tint. Rhodium plating covers this tint, giving the jewellery a brilliant white appearance. However, because rhodium wears off over time, we recommend re-plating your pieces every six to twelve months to keep them looking their best.
-
Your ring should be comfortable once it’s on. The fit should neither be too tight nor too loose. Keep in mind that finger size can fluctuate with the seasons—often larger in summer and smaller in winter.
-
We frequently craft comfort fit mens wedding rings, which feature a rounded outer edge for a smooth, comfortable feel with no sharp edges. The most popular width is about 5mm, offering a balanced look. However, widths can range from a sleek 3mm for a timeless design to a broader 7mm for a bolder appearance.
