Wild to Ware is Made with nature.

One launch. Once a year.

Each year, we step away from TINK to unearth rare gems for Wild to Ware. With these limited finds, we host just one exclusive launch annually. It’s a special event where our hard-earned discoveries become available to you.

From aussie dirt to you.

Wild to Ware is a passion project born from our love of the Australian bush, camping under the stars, and the thrill of treasure hunting. We fossick for gold and gemstones with our own hands, often returning with nothing but dirt and good stories. But when we do uncover something special, it’s more than just a gem – it’s the start of something unique.

Every piece we create comes with the history of its journey, from the exact hillside or riverbed where it was found to the meticulous care in our studio.

Sustainable & Ethical Practice

We prioritise eco-friendliness over mass production, using only consciously sourced materials. The result? Thoughtfully made jewellery that’s built to last and cherished for years.

  • Producing all our pieces in-house allows complete control over the process, from sourcing with our own hands to cleaning, polishing, setting, finishing and packaging. This process allows us to maintain the highest standard of quality and durability for every piece.

  • We appreciate packaging is a significant drain on resources today, which is why we’ve researched extensively to find a solution with a low footprint. We use 100% compostable bags made of bio-based materials with 70 to 80% PBAT, a biodegradable co-polymer, and 20%-30% PLA, a biodegradable refined corn-starch.

  • Our beautiful jewellery boxes are made from sustainable timbers that have been harvested under strict management systems to ensure the balance and biodiversity of the surrounding areas is maintained. By receiving our boxes, you have supported landscape regeneration initiatives.

OUR MATERIALS

  • We specialise in working with untreated natural sapphires. What we love most about them is their uniqueness—no two sapphires are ever the same.

We travel across Victoria, Tasmania, and NSW to find these gems, often in challenging locations. By sourcing directly from the source, we can give you full transparency on where each sapphire comes from. We take pride in ensuring every stone we use is 100% traceable.

  • The gold mining industry is a divisive topic in the jewellery industry, and rightly so with a track record of ravaged landscapes, contaminated water supplies and destruction of vital ecosystems. Why, then, do we use gold?

We only work with hand-sourced and recycled gold. We recycle all of our studio’s ‘scrap’ gold and excess for reuse and we source a portion of our materials, specifically native gold, ourselves in the Australian goldfields.

This means that the new gold we use across all of our pieces is 100% pure Australian gold collected straight from the source.

All Wild to Ware pieces are created using solid precious metals. We work primarily with 9, 14 and 18-carat yellow gold, rose gold and white gold. You will find material components under each product listing.
